There is a relatively small segment of entrepreneurs; individuals who are visionaries, ambitious and able to build relationships, trust, and rapport with almost anyone while motivating forward momentum to ‘get things done’. A’lana Banks is one of those people, and ‘getting things done’ is what she’s all about. A high energy, goal-driven entrepreneur, Banks radiates a sincere passion for delivering value and benefits to her clients throughout all of her businesses.

Born and raised in Collins, Mississippi, A’lana Banks graduated from Collins High school with honors at the tender age of 15 in August 1994. Banks received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish at the University of Southern Mississippi. After completing her B.A. in just three years she immediately began pursuing her Master’s in Criminal Justice and Spanish. While studying for her Masters, Banks also acquired a certification from Harrison County Law Enforcement Training Academy in 1998. Banks decided it was time to make a change and unexpectedly showed up at her sister’s doorstep in Atlanta to start a new chapter in her life. Not finding the transition as easy, from 1999 to 2001, Banks worked several odd jobs while trying to determine the exact career-path she wanted. Banks was introduced to Real Estate, after three months of devoted days and nights, she received her Real Estate License in 2000. While making her marks in the Real Estate Industry, in 2002 Banks received a huge break and was hired as a Corporate Financial Manager for a multi-million dollar company. While holding this position and getting acquainted with the Real Estate industry, Banks also returned to school at Clayton State University to study and complete Paralegal Studies. In 2006, as Banks was preparing to celebrate her 4th year anniversary, she was released from her position. It was at that moment, she was determined to never work for anyone again, Banks made a lifechanging decision to become a full-time entrepreneur.

It would not take long for Banks to rebound. On her journey to become a successful business owner, Banks opened and operated Buford Market, two successful locations in Norcross, GA. She did not stop, Banks launched Hair Spot Extensions, a global top producing online store providing 100% human extensions, worn by Evelyn Lozada, Pasha Carter, Cynthia Bailey, Demetria McKinney, OMG Girlz and many more.
